The One Ring Celebration Fan Film Contest!
Rules: up to two short films (20 minutes or less) or one full length film based on Tolkien or fantasy
subject matter may be submitted on VHS tape or DVD (DVD preferred). Under no circumstances will any
pre-existing filmed intellectual property (such as New Lines's LOTR Trilogy) be accepted. Entries are judged
on the following criteria: video quality, audio quality, editing quality, script, production, acting,
use of music, and originality. Humorous submissions are encouraged. Entries can not be returned, and
person submitting entry is granting TheOneRing.net and Creation Entertainment the right to play this entry in
perpetuity at our events worldwide. TheOneRing.net/Creation warrants that your entry will never be sold
as a commercial product, just presented at our event(s). Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate
good for Creation products and services worldwide (if both your entries are selected you will still be
entitled to only one gift certificate). Winners will be announced and certificates awarded on site at our
Pasadena event; if you are not present we will mail the certificate to you so be sure to include your
return address, phone number and e mail. You may call our offices to confirm receipt of your entry but we do
not announce winners until the event. All entries are due at Creation offices by Jan. 1st, 2005 with no
exceptions.
